180° in 180 Days

For many photographers and creatives, the art we produce often becomes a reflection of our inner world—our struggles, triumphs, and evolving perspectives. In a vulnerable moment of self-reflection, I admit that the true challenge isn't in creating art; it’s the courage needed to step fully into the public view. Standing at a crossroads, I’m frustrated at my self-imposed limitations and the fear of failure that has kept me stagnant for too many years.

Self-doubt is something many of us can relate to. As artists, we sometimes build a comfortable routine around our insecurities—whether it's hiding behind the camera or avoiding vulnerability by keeping our work to ourselves. There’s a realization we all must face at some point: the only way to grow is to be uncomfortable. To stop playing it safe. To finally share our art, our story, and most importantly, ourselves.

This six-month challenge—180 days to be exact— is a commitment to breaking free from fears and stepping into the life we have always imagined. Embracing discomfort, allowing ourselves to be seen, heard, and felt, both in our personal lives and through our work. It’s not just about improving our craft, but about transforming how we live and interact with the world.

For those of us who spend our days perfecting compositions and waiting for the perfect shot, this journey is a reminder that the real art often lies in the stories we are too scared to tell. It’s in showing up, in being vulnerable, and in allowing ourselves to fail in order to succeed. If you're standing at a similar crossroads, I can only hope my story might just be the nudge you need to put yourself out into the world, and share what you’re passionate about.
